Job Title:         Business Analyst - (Sales MIS & Revenue Analytics)

Role Purpose 

This role exists to bring data-driven rigor and predictability to the revenue engine.The Business Analyst will own Sales MIS, funnel analytics, and revenue insights, enabling leadership and GTM teams to make faster, sharper decisions.By turning CRM data into clear actions, this role directly impacts pipeline efficiency, forecast accuracy, win rates, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own end-to-end Sales MIS and revenue reporting, ensuring leadership has a single, trusted source of truth across pipeline, bookings, and performance.

  • Drive funnel analytics (Lead → SQL → Demo → Close) by identifying conversion leaks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Growth.

  • Enable accurate revenue forecasting by building and maintaining forecast models, deal stage hygiene checks, and risk flags.

  • Enforce CRM data quality and deal hygiene, working closely with Sales to improve consistency, completeness, and usability of data.

  • Build role-specific dashboards for Sales leadership, GTM teams, and CXOs—focused on insights, not vanity metrics.

  • Translate data into actionable insights by recommending corrective actions, prioritization, or experiments to improve outcomes.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and CS to align definitions (ICP, stages, attribution) and ensure cross-functional reporting consistency.

  • Support leadership reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with sharp analysis, trends, and decision-ready narratives.

Success Metrics / KPIs 

  • Forecast accuracy within defined tolerance (e.g., ±5–10%)

  • Improvement in funnel conversion rates across key stages

  • Reduction in CRM data gaps and stale / non-compliant deals

  • Time-to-insight for leadership reports (speed and reliability)

  • Adoption rate of dashboards by Sales and Leadership

  • Reduction in manual reporting effort across GTM teams

Stakeholder Interfaces

  • Sales Leadership & Field Sales – pipeline reviews, forecasting, deal hygiene

  • Growth / Revenue Leadership – performance insights, planning, OKRs

  • Marketing – lead quality, attribution, funnel efficiency

  • Customer Success – handover quality, expansion and renewal insights

  • Finance – revenue reporting alignment and reconciliation

  • Product (as needed) – feedback loops from deal and pipeline insights

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 3–5 years in a Business Analyst / Revenue Analyst / Sales Ops role

  • Experience in B2B SaaS strongly preferred

  • Must have completed MBA or equivalent

Must-Have Skills

  • Deep hands-on experience with CRM systems 

  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, revenue models, and forecasting

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets;  BI tool skills (More preferred )

  • Ability to convert raw data into clear, decision-oriented insights

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or enterprise SaaS

  • Exposure to RevOps or GTM analytics

  • Automation of dashboards and reporting workflows
