Job Title: SAP Solution Consultant
Location: Kolkata, India (On-site/Hybrid), Remote
Experience Required: 5-7 Years
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
We are looking for a SAP Solution Consultant to drive large-scale ERP (primarily SAP)-to-TMS integrations for enterprise clients. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of functional solutioning, program delivery leadership, and cross-functional coordination. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our integration frameworks, scaling delivery operations, and leading mission-critical transformation programs across India’s logistics landscape.
If you’re a seasoned consultant with deep SAP understanding, integration acumen, and the ability to lead teams and customers through complex enterprise rollouts—this is your role to lead.
Lead the end-to-end solutioning of SAP–TMS integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and reusability across multiple business scenarios (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Logistics Execution).
Engage directly with clients to capture requirements, validate them against the Scope of Work (SOW), and document solution approaches, including any identified gaps.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications, covering process flows, integration touchpoints, and API documentation for engineering teams.
Take complete ownership of solution integrity with measurable outcomes (e.g., reduced change requests during SIT, UAT, and post-implementation).
Develop and maintain solution artifacts, frameworks, and reusable templates to ensure consistency across all projects.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, QA, and support teams to ensure that the designed solution is delivered as intended, without direct responsibility for day-to-day project tracking
2. Client & Partner Leadership (20–25%)
Act as the strategic point of contact for enterprise clients during implementation and integration.
Lead solution design workshops, integration roadmap sessions, and executive steering meetings.
Manage delivery from external vendors and client IT teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
Drive KPI visibility, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
Lead, mentor, and coach solution consultants, enabling them to develop the same problem-solving acumen and solution ownership mindset.
Foster a culture of ownership, systems thinking, and design excellence within the solutioning team.
Build and institutionalize knowledge repositories containing functional templates, integration mappings, and best practices for future reuse.
Ensure that team members are continuously upskilled to deliver high-quality solutions across ongoing and upcoming large-scale integration programs.
5+ years in solutioning or consulting, with at least 2–3 years as Lead - Solutioning.
Proven experience in delivering ERP integrations—ideally with SAP (S/4HANA, ECC)—across supply chain or logistics functions.
Hands-on or functional knowledge in at least one key SAP module: SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), TM (Transportation Management), or WM (Warehouse Management).
Demonstrated ability to lead delivery for enterprise SaaS products or logistics platforms.
Proficiency in SAP integration tools: IDoc, BAPI, ALE, RFC, Web Services, SAP PI/PO/CPI.
Familiarity with integration methodologies covering REST APIs , SOAP Web Service, Odata Service, structured data exchanges (JSON, XML), middleware frameworks, and electronic data interchange (EDI).
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, multi-stakeholder technology programs.
Experience working with delivery partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers.
High ownership with excellent communication, client handling, and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering, IT, or related fields.
MBA or Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or IT Management is a strong advantage.
Certifications: SAP Integration or SAP Functional certifications preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
CTC Range: ₹28–₹35 LPA (negotiable based on experience and expertise).
Performance-linked bonuses and milestone-based incentives.
Hybrid/remote flexibility based on project and client needs.
